Talented actor Suriya is on a break from some time. His next film Aakaasam Nee Haddhu Raa got delayed and the actor decided to skip a theatrical release. Aakaasam Nee Haddhu Raa released on Amazon Prime and the response has been fantastic. The reviews have been extremely positive and Suriya’s performance is widely lauded by the reviewers and the audience. The actor has a series of films lined up and he would shoot for them only next year. In this while, Suriya commenced the shoot of his first web series Navarasa.
Navarasa is a prestigious project that is penned by Mani
Ratnam and has nine episodes. Each episode has its own story and will have one
lead actor and director. Gautam Menon is directing Suriya’s episode of Navarasa
and the shoot commenced in Chennai today. PC Sreeram is handling the
cinematography work for Navarasa. Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies along with
Netflix are producing Navarasa. The web series will stream in Netflix next
year.
