The film’s shoot will commence from January 4th in USA and will continue till the mid of February. The entire visa formalities of the team are completed recently.

Mahesh Babu along with his family will fly advance to USA. The top actor has been spending time with his family in his Hyderabad because the pandemic and he decided to party in USA for New Year.  With the arrival of the coronavirus pandemic, the theatres are closed and several filmmakers inked deals with digital platforms. November will have a series of new releases from all the languages. The season starts with Keerthy Suresh’s Miss India on November 4th. Akshay Kumar’s Laxmmi will be the biggest release of the year and the film streams on Hotstar from November 9th. Suriya’s Soorarai Pottru / Aakasam Nee Haddhu Ra will release on November 12th on Amazon Prime.

Nayanthara’s upcoming movie Mookuthi Amman / Ammoru Thalli will be available on Hotstar from November 14th. Story:
Colour Photo is the story of Jayakrishna (Suhas) and Deepthi (Chandini Chowdary). While Jayakrishna hails from a poor family, Deepthi comes from a respectable high-class family. Jayakrishna is dark-skinned and he has the fear of getting rejected. As time passes, Jayakrishna and Deepthi fall in love with each other. Deepthi’s brother Ramaraju (Sunil) is cold-blooded and he doesn’t accept their love story. The rest of Colour Photo is all about what happens next. Watch Colour Photo to know about the rest.

Performances:
suhas who impressed the Tollywood audience with his comic timing makes a decent impact. He fits well in the role of a dark-skinned youngster Jayakrishna and delivers a top-class performance throughout the film. He excelled in the emotional episodes. Chandini Chowdary is undoubtedly the best find for the role of Deepthi and she played her part well. Her performance during the climax is superb. Sunil plays the role of the lead antagonist and he has been good in the role. Viva Harsha takes care of the entertainment part throughout the film. All the other actors did their parts well.

Colour Photo has a lean plot which is known and unfolded during the trailer. The narration falls short of expectations and the dialogues are decent. Kaala Bhairava’s music and background score are the major highlights of Colour Photo. The cinematography work and editing are good. The college episodes are slow-paced, boring and they look cliched. The production values are ok. Director Sandeep Raj picks up a predictable theme and his narration should have been better.

 

Verdict:
Colour Photo is slow-paced, predictable and it falls flat during the second half. The performances by the lead actors and the decent first half are the saviors.

The Centre recently announced that the film theatres and movie plexes can reopen starting from October 15th and left the final decision to the states. The government of Andhra Pradesh announced the guidelines of Unlock 5.0 and allowed the reopening of theatres in Andhra Pradesh. All the theatres across the state can now be reopened from October 15th. The spread of coronavirus has been huge in the state and the audience may not come to theatres soon.

There are no good release of films for November and hence the footfalls for the month would be quite low. The Andhra Pradesh government also asked the theatres to operate with 50% occupancy. Special SOPs would be released by the Centre soon before the theatres get reopened. The multiplex chains across the country will reopen from October 15th. Story:

Sakshi (Anushka) is a mute artist who stays with her husband Anthony (R Madhavan). They visit a haunted house after which Anthony gets killed. Maha (Anjali) is a crime detective who investigates the case. Though Sakshi convinces that it is a ghost in the haunted house that killed her husband, Maha digs out the facts. The rest of Nishabdham is all about the mystery behind the murder of Anthony and watch the film to know if Sakshi is behind the murder of her husband.

The climax should have been better. With a bunch of talented actors and technicians, the film’s director Hemanth Madhukar comes up with a pale product that makes no impact. The production values have been top-notch.

Story:

Orey Bujjiga is the story of Bujjigadu (Raj Tarun). Bujjigadu and Krishna Veni (Malavika Nair) run away from home on the same day and they meet in a train. Everyone in the town thinks that they eloped together. They soon turn friends and float a startup to work together. The rest of Orey Bujjiga is all about the true identities of Bujjigadu and Krishnaveni and their backstories and how they defend each other. Watch Orey Bujjiga to know what happens next.

Performances:

Raj Tarun delivers a decent performance as Bujjigadu though it offers nothing new. He thrills the audience in a role hiding his true identity. Malavika Nair has a packed role and she excels in the assignment. The actress adds life to the role of Krishna Veni in the film. Vani Vishwanath is one of the major surprises of the film. She is powerful and perfect in the assigned role. Naresh, Posani and Sapthagiri manage to generate smiles. All the other actors delivered their best.

 

Orey Bujjiga has nothing exciting except the basic plot. There is a lot of confusion in the screenplay and the dialogues are decent. The music is just below average and so is the background score. The cinematography work is decent and the production values too made the film look good and colorful. Vijay Kumar Konda wanted to recreate the magic of his debut film Gundey Jaari Gallanthayyindey but fails badly in executing the plot.

 

Verdict:

 

Orey Bujjiga sounds decent with the first half but it falls flat because of the boring and dragged second half. A below-average film and one more disappointment from Raj Tarun.
