The Indian government made Information and Broadcasting Ministry responsible for the digital content and all the web series, web films will go through a censorship process and would be controlled by the Information and Broadcasting Ministry. The Indian President Ram Nath Kovind issued a notification after signing the government order. There would be a lot of restrictions imposed in the future for the web series and web-based films. The film had to skip the theatrical release because of the coronavirus pandemic and Laxmmi’s digital premieres started last night on Disney Plus Hotstar. Lawrence directed the film and Kiara Advani is the heroine.

Laxmmi is a mockery of the intelligence of the audience and has so many flaws. The entertainment fails to appeal to the audience and looks forced. Laxmmi is absurd and has no logic. The songs too fail to make any impact. Thanks to the background score which is the only asset for Laxmmi. The transgender character is a pure joke on the community. Akshay Kumar along with the bunch of actors ditches the audience big time. The characters introduced in the house are so annoying and they hardly make an impact.

Right from the writing to the screenplay and the dialogues, there are enough flaws. The music is bad and the editing work should has been better. Too many characters enter the film and none of them make a solid impact. The cinematography work is decent and so are the production values. Director Lawrence fails big time in adapting his original to suit the Bollywood audience.

 

Verdict:

Akshay Kumar who promised minimum entertainment or fun through his films over these years fails big time with Laxmmi. The entire product ditches the audience big time and stay away from it.

Poonam Pandey Arrested | Earlier On Wednesday, Goa police booked Model and Actress PoonamPandey under section 294 (obscenity) of the Indian Penal Code, after they received nearly half a dozen written complaints against her regarding the controversial photoshoot. One of the complaints was filed by the state water resources department, which manages the Chapoli dam. An FIR was Filed against her is known.

 Again on Thursday ie.,Today Goa Police detained her for allegedly shooting an obscene video at the Chapoli dam in Canacona sub-district of the coastal state.

In the afternoon, a Calangute police team detained Pandey and later handed her over to the Canacona police for questioning. The actress was “detained for questioning”, Superintendent of Police (South) Pankaj Kumar Singh told.

Speaking about the issue of Poonam Pandey.. Durgadas Kamat vice president and spokesperson of Goa Forward party told on Wednesday, “Video of Poonam Pandey has gone viral in Goa. The video was shot at Chapoli Dam in Canacona. The area is highly secured and is the property of the Water Resource Department, Goa government. Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) normally issued permission for the shoot in Goa. The Chief Minister is the chairman of the ESG. The BJP government led by Pramod Sawant is promoting Goa as porn destination which is bringing bad name to the state.”

Recently, Poonam Pandey was in the limelight after she got her husband arrested on the charges of molestation during her honeymoon.
