The Indian government granted permissions for each and everything but not the movie theatres. Even the bars all over and now reopened and are getting back to busy business. But the Centre is yet to grant the permission for the reopening of theatres and multiplexes. The Indian Multiplex Association penned emotional notes to the Centre but the results are not positive. The theatre owners are quite confident that the permissions would be granted by Unlock 5.0.
There are debates going on about the reopening of theatres
about the release of the upcoming movies. Most of the films are sold for OTT
platforms and there are no great releases. Telugu film producers are keen to
release the movies starting from Sankranthi. Even if the permissions are
granted for theatres, there would be no releases in November and December.
Films like Vakeel Saab, Uppena, RED, Love Story, Rang De, Most Eligible
Bachelor will release early next year.
